Joanna Styles is an experienced author and freelance writer specialising in relocation information for expats moving abroad. Based in southern Spain where she has lived for nearly 20 years, Joanna also writes regularly on all aspects of Spain and Spanish life. Joanna's expertise ranges from the practical aspects of moving to Spain - such as buying a property, education, health and taxation - to the cultural and social aspects of living in Spain.

Joanna is the author of several books including 'The Best Places to Buy a Home in Spain', the relocation guides 'Costa Blanca Lifeline' and 'Costa del Sol Lifeline' and 'Living and Working in the EU'. Originally a languages teacher, Joanna speaks fluent Spanish. She became a freelance writer several years ago when she finally succumbed to her lifelong ambition of writing. She is married with two teenage daughters.
