Copywriting for marketing
Writing copy for content marketing – website text, brochures, white papers, eshots and landing pages for example – forms a major part of my everyday work. Below, you’ll find some examples of what I’ve written.
Web copy
I have written the text for many websites over the years and contributed to a large part of content on others. Examples include Guide to Malaga (I write all the copy for the site) and Realista.com (area guides).
All my web copy is optimised for Google, an acquired skill that has led to big results for my clients. Even for extremely competitive keywords, their sites rank well thanks in part to the copy I’ve written.
Brochures & white papers
Downloadable documents are a common and effective form of lead generation and I have written many on diverse topics. They include property investment guides, quarterly economic reports and annual news summaries. They all include valuable information that’s useful to the reader and entices them to find out more. Examples are available on request.
Landing pages
People rarely download something without visiting a landing page first. I’ve written many and some examples are here and here Obviously great graphics help and I’m lucky to work with excellent designers who have a real eye for detail, but bottom line? The words are what gets people to take action!
Newsletters
Company newsletters are a good way of getting people to subscribe to a database and writing good copy ensures they stay subscribed. I’ve written many over the years and regularly create the Guide to Malaga newsletter that has an open rate of over 62%. You can see an example here.
Eshots
Designed for lead generation, eshots (sometimes known as email blasts) allow a company to advertise a new product, shout about something or offer information to their gold mine (their database). Examples of eshots I have created are available on request.
